Massage therapy came to me when I thought I had run out of options. After battling an eating disorder for nearly a decade, it was massage that finally allowed me to slow down and learn to connect with my body. A seemingly unlikely outlet, massage became a regular, integral part of my recovery and began my professional transition into healthcare. I became fascinated with the human body; how it works, what it needs and how intricately complicated it can be.

I obtained my diploma in Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto, Ontario and became a Registered Massage Therapist in July of 2015. During my studies, I completed a seven week course on pregnancy massage care where I very quickly discovered a love of the practice. I then moved into a clinical placement at Sunnybrook Hospital’s High Risk Obstetrics unit in Toronto where my experience and desire to work with maternity patients and their families grew. Since becoming registered, I have taken post graduate courses in pregnancy, labour, postpartum and breast massage.

As a therapist, it is my goal to create an environment in which my patients can listen and connect with their bodies. I believe that massage is an essential tool to utilize in our lives as we navigate through injury, stress, pain, and our own well being. I am passionate about providing knowledgeable, comfortable and effective care to patients during their childbearing year and find deep happiness in helping my patients feel better about themselves and their health.

Outside of massage, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and playwright.
