I believe in the power of therapeutic touch. Massage therapy came to me at a time in my life when my own health and wellness were being ignored and it was massage that allowed me to finally slow down and connect. I became fascinated with the human body; how it works, what it needs and how intricately complicated it can be.

I obtained my diploma in massage therapy from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto, Ontario and became a registered massage therapist in July of 2015. I have had the opportunity to work with patients living with various conditions from chronic back pain to cerebral palsy and epilepsy. A clinical placement at Sunnybrook Hospital’s High Risk Obstetrics unit in Toronto has also opened my experience to prenatal and postpartum massage care.

I believe that massage is an essential tool to utilize in our lives as we navigate through injury, stress, pain and our own well being. As a therapist it is my goal to create an environment in which my patients can listen to and connect with their bodies. I employ a variety of techniques to my treatments including, full body postural assessment, Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point work, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, manual lymphatic drainage, rhythmic massage, passive stretching, and gentle joint mobilizations. I believe in the importance of educating my patients on their care and helping them build a treatment that is comfortable and effective.

I love my job. It is absolutely the best feeling in the world to help someone feel better about themselves and their health.
