I am a proud student of Pacific Rim College here in Victoria where I graduated with the highest distinction for Acupuncture. Prior to this, I also gained a BSc in Psychology. I found myself drawn to acupuncture because of the holistic and preventative nature of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I enjoy treating a wide variety of ailments, and love that acupuncture has the scope to address physical, emotional, and spiritual health concerns.
In my youth I was an elite level rhythmic gymnast and have had personal experience with both injuries and pain. This led to a keen interest in relieving muscle and joint aches and pains for my clients.
I believe there is a deep interconnectivity within the body, and that our body has the natural ability to heal itself. Thus, I see my role as facilitating the changes that are needed to restore balance within the body to relieve pain and create health and well-being. I also believe in informed healing and like to provide patient education during most of my sessions. I am passionate about working together with my patients to develop a holistic and individualized treatment plan that is grounded in your health goals and can be implemented at a pace that is comfortable for you.
