Jennifer Maddaford

I became an Acupuncturist in 2017. Having been a nurse since 2012, I wanted to provide healthcare in a more holistic and preventative way. I believe in approaching people as whole beings, and providing treatment that addresses the root cause of health problems, while still relieving the symptoms that get in our way.

I love how Acupuncture helps support us on our journey to health – both mental and physical.

I’ve been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for years and I have worked in public Mental Health. The mind-body connection fascinates me, and informs my Acupuncture Practice. I studied Acupuncture at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver and at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, graduating in 2016.

Acupuncture works on many levels to help us find peace and healing in our bodies. I believe that if we take the time to nourish and heal ourselves we can show up as better and kinder people in the world. I am honored to be able to support you in your journey to optimal health.

  • Pain Management: acute, chronic, injury recovery, arthritis
